PVC-U systems are the ideal solution for the transport of industrial fluids. The PVC-U material (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) guarantees excellent chemical resistance to most acids and alkalis, aliphatic hydrocarbons and brines. It can be used between 0-60°C.

PVC-U plastic has good thermal stability over the typical temperature range. This material is fully suitable for transporting treated and untreated drinking water as well as demineralised water, according to the most stringent specifications.

The PVC-U material provides optimum mechanical resistance, good rigidity, stability and safety in use. Aliaxis offers a complete range of PVC-U pipes and fittings, with glued or threaded ends:

A major advantage of PVC-U systems is their ease of installation. Thanks to its molecular structure, the system can be built up using the appropriate pipe adhesive, so there is no need to know/afford a welding procedure. Thanks to the enclosed design of the products, assembly is quick, accurate and simple.

Piping systems with multiple pressure ratings

Our PVC-U ported pipes are available in 6, 10 and 16 bar versions, while our fittings and fittings can withstand 16 bar (d16-d225) and 10 bar (d225-d315) working pressures (d16-d225).
